Some Quick Obie Trice Info....

Obie Trice's debut album was straight crack. "Average Man," "Lady," "Shit Hits the Fan," "We All Die One Day," and the classic collabo with busta on "Oh!" were all straight heat, along with many other banga's.

Obie Trice is currently in the studio until the heavily anticipated Anger Management 3 Tour, in which he will join his label mates D-12 and Stat Quo along with heavy hitters such as 50 Cent with the G-Unit, Busta Rhymes, Lil Jon and the East Side Boys, and a guy by the name of Marshall Mathers who you might have heard of. Also rumored to be performing on the same bill as obie is mobb deep and M.O.P. who are both rumored to be signing wit G-Unit records. During a recent interview that Obie did at the Interscope offices with my cousin, Trice expressed his anxiousness and excitement to join such hip hop heavyweights on this tour and said he will be performing joints off of "Cheers" and his 2nd lp as well.

Whereas last time Obie was in the studio 24/7 with eminem, this time he's not in there with slim. Every hook, every verse, every song is reviewed by Obie himself and his management before he displays it to his Shady family. Although "Second Rounds On Me" was expected to be out this summer, it has been pushed back to November 2005. According to Eminem though, "you wont see Obie releasing an album with a few hit singles and rest is album fillers. What you will see is a complete album, no track will a true fan ever skip in the CD." "Black Boy", "Honor" and "Growin Up In Da Hood" are all highly rumored to be on "Second Rounds On Me". But there is no joint officially on the album yet. The production team is set with Dr. Dre, Eminem, Scott Storch, Mr. Porter and Red Spyda. New producers include Lil' Jon, Hi-Tek and Eminem's new DJ Alchemist.

Yes, obie trice's album was crack to me. However, that doesnt mean it was a classic. Nonetheless, the production alone was pretty much flawless with beats from dre, timbaland, eminem, mr porter, and hi-tek. Go listen to average man, lady, dont come down, follow my life, we all die one day, etc etc etc. I appreciate your opinion tho
