DJ Premier & Green Lantern to Judge Scion's Underground Rap Contest

Gang Starr's DJ Premier, Green Lantern, and Sean Cane have been tapped to judge Scion's second annual Nextup contest. Allhiphop.com reports that the winner of the competition will get a $50,000 marketing deal with Scion, which includes a $5,000 cash prize and a fully-produced video for the winning song. The judges will filter through all of the submissions to get down to 10 finalists, who will then be featured on Scion's website where visitors can vote for the winner.


Rappers aren't the only ones who can win through the new contest. Scion will give away a free car to one lucky voter. To enter, visit scionnextup.com. The deadline to enter the contest is August 8th.
