PHARRELL’S NEW ALBUM PUSHED BACK
Pharrell Williams’ highly anticipated solo debut In My Mind, which was first expected in November and then bumped to December 13th, has now been changed to a February release, according to Billboard. His label (Star Trak/Interscope) gave no reason for the date change. The Neptunes producer performed his first single "Can I Have It Like That" featuring Gwen Stefani on the American Music Awards last Tuesday. The single is currently number-20 on this week’s Billboard's Hot Rap Tracks chart. The label has just sent a second single, "Angel," to U.S. radio outlets. In My Mind includes seven hip-hop tracks and seven R&B songs, as well as guest spots by Jay-Z, Pusha T of the Clipse, Daddy Yankee and Star Trak artists Slim Thug and Vanessa Marquez.
