HipHopHavoc.com & Late Nite Noise Presents - The Unofficial Best of Fat Joe

The 2 fastest growing Hip Hop sites on the 'Net - Hiphophavoc.com and Lnn4life.com - have collaborated to bring you the first in a series of mixtapes to show our appreciation to our fans. YOU make Hiphophavoc the #1 site for streaming Hip Hop audio and exclusives. YOU make Late Nite Noise Western New York & Southern Ontario's #1 Source for Hip Hop. So please enjoy this token of our respect and gratitude.
So why Fat Joe as our first choice? Because we feel Joey Crack is the perfect representative to exemplify New York Hip Hop. He's been around since Biggie, since Jay-Z, since Nas - through the Golden Age of the 90s and up to the present oment, he's remained relevant and significant in the Hip Hop landscape. His legendary status in the game is somewhat overlooked, but as this Best Of collection shows, his contributions to Hip Hop since '93 and his impact cannot be denied. Remember - this is the guy responsible for bringing you the first Latino Hip Hop artist to go platinum (the late great Big Pun). This is the guy who was on the two hottest Hip Hop singles of 2004 "New York" and "Lean Back".
But we'll let the music speak for itself. Enjoy, and remember where you got this exclusive heat - Hiphophavoc.com and Lnn4life.com. When it comes to you, the fans, we take things seriously - we don't play no hip hop games...ENJOY!

Thanks for your comment, we respect your view. Regardless of what your personal opinion is, there are many many people that believe that Fat Joe is a legend in the game.
It is ridiculous not to consider his contribution to hiphop.
We never stated that his status in the streets was bigger that Jay-Z, Nas or anyone for that matter. And your argument about him living in Jersey is Irrelivant. 50 Cent clains south side jamaica all day; he live in Conn, I am pretty sure that Jay Z does not live in Marcy Housing Projects. He probably lives in the hamptons or somewhere of that stature.
As far as Big Daddy Kane and Kool G. Rap, they are also legends. Just because you dont consider someone a legend doesn't mean that others dont either.
With that said, it IS a free download. So you can choose not to download it and wait till next month for another free mixtape. You never know it could be a a best of Jay-Z, Nas or anyone else you will consider a legend.

HOW HARD IZ FAT JOE?
So, dude in the last comment came out shittin on the nigga Fat Joe. "Joe's not a legend", "Joe aint move no units". Now, as far as sales, that dont never make a fuckin' difference when breakin down an mc's talents. Tha fact that Pretty Ricky sold anything proves that shit. Joe as a legend, thats a good one, tho. I thought about it, and you gotta give him his respect as a hip hop icon. His cult following in the Latin community puts him in the running for legendary status. Tha Boriqua love is crazy, I know dudes that swear by Joe like 'Pac fans. On the real tho', I was never a fan of dudes lyrics like that. His vocals is straight, its just, dude just dont say shit that blows me away. Pun, that nigga was a legend. Lyrically, we all knew he would hit legend status BEFORE homie passed. Fat Joe did a lot for the Latin rap community, and has some great records. But really real, which mc's you think Joe could honestly take? Joe or Prodigy? Joe or Cam? Joe or Fif? I think he'd come up short with alla them ('cept maybe Prodigy). Em, Nas, AZ, and Kiss would slaughter him like a pig, and anybody who says othawise is bullshittin'. In terms of East Coast, Beanie'll eat him alive, Styles'll do him dirty. Red, Meth, and Fab'll make him look stupid. I even'd put paper on Santana, Papoose, Saigon, Banks, and Cassidy over his ass. I know there's a gang of Joe fans out there, who yall really think that nigga could take? (and don't say Bleek, Tony Yayo, Lil Caesar, Benzino, or no wack niggas. I might hear a Jimmy vs. Joe arguement, but that where it stops on questionable rappers.)

By tha way, that is a pretty complete "Best Of" for Joe. Its a good mix of the different eras of Fat Joe's career. Niggaz shoulda thrown that "Deep Cover" remix ("Twinz") him and Pun lay'd down. They both ripped that beat apart. I know niggaz is gonna hate, but I like their version damn near more than the original.
R. Motions, don't sweat tha slick talk in the first comment. HHH fans'll use any exscuse to start a debate. That's what keeps your diehard fans comin back. I never left comments on no websites before, I wasn't feelin' all them "internet gangstas". That shit is supsect. But yall comment page is what gives ya'll a certain edge over some of your competition (I won't name 'em outta respect). But on behalf of everybody, good lookin on everything yall doin. This shit keep helps keep hip hop goin.
