50 Cent to Drop New Album in July
By: Yves Erwin Salomon
Rappers 50 Cent and the Game can't seem to move past their beef, and recently 50 Cent released a diss track titled "Not Rich, Still Lyin'," where he chastises his former protege. MTV.com reports that at the end of the song, 50 Cent announces that he'll be releasing a new album on July 18th because "he can't stay away."
On the diss track, 50 Cent says that the Game's brother, Big Fase Hun, has denied that the Game was ever in a coma after his 2001 shooting. Big Fase Hun also allegedly told 50 Cent that the Game was never a gang-banger.
At the end of the track, 50 Cent pours more salt over the Game's wounds by asking him to send over his new recordings, so that 50 Cent could open the budget for his sophomore album.
The Game is signed to Interscope Records through a joint deal between Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment and 50 Cent's G-Unit Records.
