THE GAME'S MANAGER FOUND GUILTY OF ASSAULT
By: Yves Erwin Salomon
The Game's manager, James "Jimmy Henchmen" Rosemond, was recently found guilty of assaulting a Washington, D.C., disc jockey during a January 2005 appearance at a radio station with The Game. Allhiphop.com reports that Rosemond will be facing up to 10 years behind bars when he is sentenced on April 3rd.
Rosemond and a group of men allegedly attacked Xzulu "The Big Lipped Bandit" of WKYS-FM in Lanham, Maryland, after the on-air personality made a comment about Rosemond's headset.
Xzulu told allhiphop.com, "I was hospitalized with multiple injuries. The person that did it was very recognizable, along with his people. It definitely happened, and it happened over some nonsense. Nonsense. I'm 35, not 25, and we're all brothers in this game. But we learn some things as we go along. I think it's a shame that we are acting so primitive, on both sides."
He added, "Here you have a brother that is so talented. I think he has one of the dopest albums to come out in a long time, and I think people make bad decisions. I think that night he made a bad decision."
The Game was also hit with assault charges last February but the charges were later dropped.
The Game is also facing a lawsuit from a man who was allegedly hurt during the attack. Kwasi Jones filed a $280 million dollar civil-assault case against the Game, G-Unit, Shady Records, and Aftermath Entertainment.
Rosemond also manages Brandy, Sheek Louch, Guerrilla Black, and others.
