Russell Simmons, Kanye West, Busta Rhymes, Ja Rule, Snoop Dogg, and Damon Dash are some of the artists and executives who were interviewed for Don Sikorski's new documentary Rap Sheet: Hip Hop amp; The Cops, which is slated for release later this year. The project also features surveillance footage of many of hip hop's biggest stars which was compiled by police departments in New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles; the FBI; and the Drug Enforcement Agency.
Sikorski told Variety, "I was amazed at the volume of intimate, private information that this national network of police had gathered. But the more I talked to artists and cops, the more I understood that this is a situation with few heroes and plenty of villains on both sides."
In addition to interviews, Sikorski was able to gather information under the Freedom Of Information Act.
Rap Sheet: The Cops will also include performances by Eminem, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, and Lloyd Banks.

my friend was working with don sikorski, the director. he's bootlegging this film as "The Real Rap Game: The FBI, NYPD and Hip-Hop" cause he's fighting with producers over money and control. another white dude making money off of the culture.
