Fat Joe Keeps it Crackin' with Atlantic, Pre-Album Coming Soon

Representatives from Atlantic Records and Fat Joe reached out to SOHH to confirm that their relationship is still strong and very much together.

Contrary to the rumors that Atlantic sought to release Fat Joe and that he was shopping a deal with Asylum records it appears that the label and rapper have plans to only keep things crackin' further, with both Joe and Atlantic saying that the label has agreed to distribute Joe's Terror Squad label.

"I have no problems with Atlantic, I did not get dropped from Atlantic. We negotiated a new deal and now Terror Squad Records is Distributed through Atlantic," Fat Joe told SOHH exclusively.

"Fat Joe is an icon in the hip-hop community - an artist, producer, writer, tastemaker, and entrepreneur with tremendous vision, influence, and creativity. We are proud to have had Fat Joe as a member of the Atlantic family for the past eight years, and we are looking forward to continuing our great relationship with Joe and his Terror Squad label," Atlantic record's Craig Kallman said via statement, affirming the label's profound respect for their artist.

Fat Joe also exclusively shared with SOHH that he has new music in the works:

"Lookout for my pre-album Crack Music coming out on Counterflow. It features MC's Jadakiss, Big Pun, Mobb Deep, Paul Wall, Remy Ma, Styles P and production by Wyclef, LV, Alchemist, Showbiz, [DJ] Green lantern, Jack Splash of Plantlife and more."
