Singer and actress Beyonce will celebrate her 25th birthday by releasing her second solo album titled B'Day on September 5th, a day after her actual birthdate. The new album will feature music co-written, arranged, and produced by Beyonce.
The first single will be "Deja Vu" featuring Jay-Z with co-production by Rodney Jerkins. Other co-producers on B'Day include Rich Harrison, The Neptunes, and Swizz Beatz.
Fans of the bootylicious singer will get a second helping of Beyonce music when the soundtrack to the Dreamgirls is released as a joint venture between Sony Urban Music/Columbia Records and Music World Music. Beyonce stars in the long-awaited screen musical along with Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Danny Glover, Anika Noni Rose, and Jennifer Hudson. The film opens December 22nd.
Beyonce completed recording B'Day just three weeks after the wrap of Dreamgirls. The new album is the follow-up to her smash 2003 solo debut Dangerously In Love, which earned the Houston native five Grammy Awards.
