Lord Jamar Set To Release Solo Set Next Month

Brand Nubian member Lord Jamar will release his first solo project called The 5% Album on June 27th on Babygrande Records. The album will feature guest appearances by RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Sadat X, and Grand Puba.

Lord Jamar, who has appeared on Oz, Law amp; Order, and Third Watch, made a special guest appearance on The Sopranos this season.

Brand Nubian released their critically acclaimed debut set, One For All, on Elektra Records in 1990. Following One For All's success, group member Grand Puba decided to pursue a solo career, while remaining members Lord Jamar and Sadat X released two albums: 1993's In God We Trust and 1994's Everything Is Everything. The original members reunited for 1998's Foundation and 2004's Fire In The Hole.
