By: Yves Erwin Salomon
Rap mogul Jay-Z plans to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, by performing a special concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 25th, which is exactly the same day the album was released in 1996. MTV.com reports that the rapper might do the entire album in sequence from beginning to end, as if fans were listening to the actual CD.
Yesterday (Thursday, June 8th), during an interview on New York City radio station WQHT-FM, Jay-Z told Angie Martinez, "Anything can happen. I want the purist to be there -- the Reasonable Doubt lovers."
Fans can expect some special guests at the concert including Mary J. Blige, Memphis Bleek, and Foxy Brown, who were all featured on Reasonable Doubt.
Tickets go on sale today (Friday, June 9th).
