Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre hook up again
By: Yves Erwin Salomon
Snoop Dogg will release his new album, The Blue Carpet Treatment, on November 21st and the set includes several songs produced by Dr. Dre. Billboard.com reports that the duo hasn't recorded together in over five years. One of the songs the duo worked on together is "Imagine," where they run through such hypothetical situations as imagining what it would be like if Tupac Shakur never died.
The last time Dr. Dre worked with Snoop Dogg was on Snoop's 2000 album, Tha Last Meal. At the time Snoop Dogg said: "I'm happy to be back in the lab with Dr. Dre, you know? It just feels good to be able to do what I do best and to be respected for it."
The Blue Carpet Treatment will also feature the production of the Neptunes, Rick Rock, and Timbaland with guest appearances by B-Real, Nate Dogg, Ne-Yo, R. Kelly, Stevie Wonder, the Game and Ice Cube.
