Ciara duets with 50 Cent on upcoming album

Multi-talented performer Ciara is still putting the finishing touches on her sophomore album, Ciara: The Evolution, due December 5th. The singer recently revealed that she got none other than hip-hop hitmaker 50 Cent to appear on the song "Dope Boys." She explained to MTV.com, "I ended up doing it with 50. Rodney Jerkins produced it and I think it's going to be a big record. The way he laid his verses is crazy."
Ciara also dropped heavy hints that another last-minute surprise guest would be adding to a track from the new set, which she describes as being more mature than her debut, Goodies.
The new single from the set is "Promise," for which she recently shot a new video. "I just wanted to make a record that felt good, and I think this is one of those records that truly is a sing-along, and that was the goal," Ciara said of the Polow-produced track. "I want you to be able to go back to the old days, and put your hands up and rock from side to side and just feel good."
