Young Jeezy records extra material JUST IN CASE
By: Yves Erwin Salomon
Young Jeezy is taking a page out of 2Pac's book and recording extra material in case anything should happen to him. Billboard.com reports that the rapper has recorded 114 songs for his new album but only 14 will actually make the cut. The rapper said, "I did this in case anything ever happens to me, so I've got a couple of albums left. You never know, these days."
Jeezy's new album, The Inspiration, is due out on December 12th and features guest appearances by Ludacris, T.I., Keyshia Cole, Three 6 Mafia, Young Buck and Timbaland.
The first single from the project is "I Luv It."
Young Jeezy released his debut album, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, in 2005. The set has sold over 1.7 million copies since its release.
