Death Row Records founder Marion "Suge" Knight has responded to comments made by his former protege Snoop Dogg in a recent issue of Rolling Stone. During the interview, Snoop Dogg explained that he confronted Knight at BET Awards four years ago and that he was never scared of Knight. The rapper said, "Never was afraid of him, I was afraid I was gonna have to kill him. That's what I was afraid of."
Knight responded by telling the New York Post's Page Six that Snoop Dogg is a rat, which according to Knight, explains why he is continuously able to avoid jail time. Snoop Dogg has been arrested three times in the past two months on various weapons and drugs charges.
Knight said, "Snoop is a rat. He's a police informer. This is the only guy who never goes to jail no matter what. I don't like rats."
Snoop Dogg was most recently arrested on Tuesday night, November 28th, when police executed a search warrant and found a gun, cocaine, and marijuana in the rapper's vehicle.
Knight added, "I don't have to go around and convince people I'm tough. The only being I fear is God. Snoop has never been in a real fight. When there's trouble, he runs to the police. He throws up and starts crying."
Snoop Dogg was arrested on November 2nd at the airport in Santa Ana, California, for having a collapsible baton and he was charged with possession of a deadly weapon. The rapper was also arrested on October 26th at the Burbank Airport for possession of a gun and a controlled substance.
