Consequence isn't worried about the numbers...
By: Yves Erwin Salomon
Rapper Consequence has been signed to Elektra Records, Relativity Records, and Rawkus Records since making his debut on A Tribe Called Quest's 1996 album, Beats, Rhymes & Life. The rapper even took a day job in-between deals to make ends meet. Now he's finally set to release his debut solo album, Don't Quit Your Day Job, on March 6th. The album features guest appearances by Kanye West and John Legend.
Consequence recently explained that he isn't worried about the numbers. He said: "I just want people to feel it and people to love it, and embrace it. You know whatever the number, wherever we wind up number-wise that's just you know....we'll talk about that at the renegotiation for the second album (laughs)."
