By: Yves Erwin Salomon
Philadelphia-based rapper Beanie Sigel is taking his time with his new album, The Solution. MTV.com reports that the rapper is being secretive about what label will release the project as Roc-A-Fella and Universal have both been rumored to be in the running.
So far Sigel has worked with Dre & Vidal and newcomers Little Harry and Little Alex. The rapper is also hoping to pull off a posse cut featuring Mos Def, Scarface, Eminem and Kid Rock.
Sigel explained, "I said it before: I don't want to make music forever, I just wanna make that forever music. So that's just basically the course I been going on. Just making the right music, the right decisions on songs that I do. ... A lot of my music goes off of feeling. If it feels good to me, then I'll do it, I'll complete it. And that's what the world will hear.
Sigel said he's also up for a possible State Property reunion. The rapper said, "I will always do music with them. If everybody get together and we on the same page like we once was," he said, "then I'm ready to ride."
Sigel's last release was 2005's the B. Coming.
