50 Cent Battling Ex-Girlfriend Over Child Support

Rapper 50 Cent was in a Long Island courtroom on Friday (June 22nd) to continue his ongoing child support case with Shaniqua Tompkins, the mother of his 10-year-old son, Marquise Jackson. The Associated Press reports that Tompkins is battling for an increase in the $25,000 a month the rapper currently pays in child support and household expenses. Her lawyer, Raoul Felder, said, the rapper is "worth tens and tens of millions of dollars."

50 Cent's lawyer, Brett Kimmel, described Tompkins as insatiable. He said, "Her demands keep escalating."

50 Cent and Tompkins will continue closed door meetings this week at the courthouse to resolve the issue.

According to Forbes.com, 50 Cent made over $33 million from his various businesses last year.
