Akon Still Sought For Fan-Throwing Incident

Though speculation about the incident has died down, Akon is still wanted for questioning regarding a fan-tossing incident. Police in Fishkill, New York say they are still investigating Akon's stage-tossing of a 15-year-old boy at the June 3rd KFEST concert, though no charges have been filed. "We're just continuing the investigation," said Fishkill Detective Lt. John Berlingieri.

Cell phone video footage of the incident showed that Akon, apparently responding to an item thrown at the stage, had security bring the perpetrator on stage. Akon immediately hoisted him overhead and tossed him down into the crowd.

While the young man has not filed any complaints or been treated for injuries, a 26-year-old Delaware woman said she suffered a concussion when the teen landed on her.

Akon wraps up his national tour with two shows at the Verizon Amphitheater in Irvine, California this weekend (June 22nd and 23rd).
