Snoop Dogg Sells Mansion
By: Yves Erwin Salomon
Rapper Snoop Dogg recently sold his Claremont, California mansion which includes eight bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, and 6,500 square feet of living space. The home also has a gourmet chef's kitchen, a home theater, recording studio, pool, spa, and a tennis court. The mansion, which has a Los Angeles Lakers-themed basketball court, was featured on MTV's Cribs in 2000.
The rapper, who moved out of the house a couple of years ago, was asking for $2 million but settled for $1.8 million, and his neighbors are happy as he's thrown his share of big parties of the years.
Claremont Police Capt. Gary Jenkins told the Claremont Courier, "There were regular parties, and they were loud. So we would receive a lot of noise complaints. There were a lot of cars in the neighborhood and people loitering around in the streets, but no major problems."
