Arizona Prosecutors Still Investigating Dmx

Rapper DMX isn't in the clear yet after an autopsy revealed that one of the burnt dog carcasses found on his property suffered serious bite wounds prior to its death. The Associated Press reports that a second carcass had significant trauma to the abdomen. A third carcass was burnt so badly that tests were inconclusive. Authorities discovered 12 distressed dogs and the burnt carcasses of three dogs when they raided the rapper's Cave Creek, Arizona home.
So far, no charges have been filed against DMX, but that may change. Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said, "Someone's going to have to pay for this. We have 12 dogs who were abused and three dogs buried in the yard -- someone's going to have to pay."
DMX's lawyer, Murray Richman, doesn't think there's a case against the rapper. DMX allegedly left the home and dogs in the care of a caretaker and hasn't been to Arizona in several months.
Richman explained, "How do you attribute activities to a person who has not been there, when they have knowledge that other persons have been? Is it because of the celebrity nature?"
