COMMON DAY IN CHI-TOWN: Chicago Rapper Honored by City & Power 92 Radio

Chicago radio station Power 92 and the City of Chicago recently proclaimed Sept. 20th as "Common Day" in Chicago.

The proclamation event took place at the historical Regal Theater in Chicago (scroll down for photos).


The event was hosted by Chicago radio host, Kendra G.


According to Kendra G., Common was very humbled by the whole experience and took time out to thank almost every person individual who helped him along the way.


Although Common has been representing for Chicago for almost 15 years he just recently started to receive commercial success.


His latest album "Finding Forever" debuted at number one on the billboard album charts.


Common is currently on a national tour.
