The Game's Impersonating A Police Officer Charges Dropped
By: Yves Erwin Salomon
Los Angeles-based rapper The Game got some good news on Thursday (September 20th). Reuters reports that a New York State Supreme Court judge dismissed charges against The Game stemming from a November arrest for allegedly impersonating a police office. Outside the courtroom, The Game said, "I love New York, but I hate the system. But, I hate every system."
The charges will be dismissed if The Game stays out of trouble for six months.
The Game allegedly got into a private car service and told the driver he was an undercover cop. He instructed the driver to run several lights causing the vehicle was pulled over by police.
In related news, The Game is still facing felony charges for allegedly pulling out a gun during a pick-up game in Los Angeles in February. If found guilty, the rapper could face up to five years behind bars.
