Jr Writer Inks Deal With Koch Records

The Diplomats JR Writer has signed a million dollar multi-album deal with Babygrande Records. Writer will release his first album under the deal, Writer's Block 5, on November 20th.

Babygrande Records said in a statement on their website, "JR is an incredible artist. At 23, he has already accomplished so much and we will work closely with him to continue his success. His last album sold over 100,000 copies and if Koch distribution can deliver again, we know we can."

Writer released his debut album, History In The Making, last year on Koch Records.

Babygrande's roster also includes: NORE, Ice Water, 40 Cal, Canibus, Gillie Da Kid, Hi-Tek, Brand Nubian's Lord Jamar,Sa-Ra and Un Kasa.
