50 Cent vs. Nas
50 Cent has weighed into the debate over the controversial new Nas album, insisting N--ger is a "stupid name."
The rap superstar becomes the latest music industry figure to speak out about the follow-up to last year's Hip Hop Is Dead.
Earlier this month, Nas announced plans to call the record N--ga, before claiming he had decided to change it to N--ger.
However, neither title appear to have impressed Fiddy, who has now dismissed both his hip-hop rival and the upcoming release.
"Nas sucks. It's nonsense, man. That's a stupid name. It doesn't make sense. Why would you title it that?" he questioned.
"You helped him out because you asked me [about it], and people who are interested in me would like to hear the answer. But other than that, there's nothing interesting in that. It's just for shock value," insisted 50, who says Nas is just trying to sell more records.
N--ger is provisionally scheduled for release in December.

I'm sorry but I can't ride with NAS on that especially when there are good ol boys down in Alabama and Georgia riding around with Nooses and shit....All we need is someone like Nas to give them something to cheer about.

Not sure why NAS has chosen this Title for his upcoming CD but I am sure there is a good reason behind why he is doing it. NAS is a musical geniuos and has a love for hip hop. Now how can 50 down NAS when all he talks about is shoot'em up kill my people music. whats the difference between black on black crime and the N word?!?!?

Bottomline is that 50 Cent and the "New" Nas are not doing justice by promoting violence all the time and degrading the black race for profit, Open up some private schools or something instead of saying I came from a bad place and I'm speaking about my experience...People are still going through it...Ok, you're out...congrats to you but people are still in that situation today.......
Comedians like DL Hugley and Chris Rock are included too....What does Chris Rock know about black people not paying their rent on time when he probably has a huge as mansion in Cali and DL Hughley talking about IMUS is right the college girls are nappy headed hoes on Jay Leno.....

I think the word is one of the main causes of racial tension today, and I'm curious to see what a hip-hop legend [Nas] has to say about it. On the other hand, I really couldn't give a flying fuck what 50 has to say about it. Yea I dled his shit to check it out but when it comes down to it he lost to Kanye because he keeps doing the same shit, and people are tired of it. He could at least get his message across with a little more imagination [like Weezy,Jeezy]. It's his commercial garbage that is killing hip hop as Nas suggests in his last album), he can probably barely comprehend whats going on.

Nas isnt naming it to sell it records for money.. he knows with a title like that people are goin to be interested to see what he has to say on it, now he can address alot of issues he has and talk about anything he wants to say and he knows its goin to be heard because people are goin to be interested to see what he has to say.. 50 is just mad because he didnt think of if himself, i mean he named his cd after his first name.. thats a stupid name if anything

50 Cent is right. Nas is just doing this for shock value. But how can blacks get mad when we say the word all the time. In my opinion, Nigger and Nigga have the same meaning. Its just like The and Tha. The same thing except us blacks just added our ghettoness to it. Not speaking against our ghettoness but damn...After that oochie wally shit, I said fuck Nas. Dont change who you are to sell records, then try to convert back when shit aint going well.
