Flip Mode Squad Parts Way with Busta Rhymes

The Flip Mode Squad have parted ways with mentor Busta Rhymes and changed their name to simply F-M-S. The group’s Rampage says, “We just decided to do our own thing… It’s not under Flip Mode anymore. It’s under F-M-S, just me, [Baby] Sham, [Rah] Digga and [Spliff] Starr, and F-M-S stands for Famous Millionaire Squad.” Rampage adds that Busta’s legal troubles had nothing to do with the split. “If they say he did it, then he did it. I ain’t with him all the time… I just don’t got nothing to do with people being murdered at video shoots or none of that. I’m just trying to do music, man.” — Elle Castro
