The Game competes for role in upcoming film version of "The A-Team"

It may be game over for Ice Cube and Tyrese when it comes to the role of B.A. Baracus in the upcoming film version of "The A-Team," due June 11, 2010 from 20th Century Fox.

According to BlackFilm.com, The Game has emerged as a frontrunner to step into the role originated in the TV series by Mr. T.

If The Game lands the role, he would join Liam Neeson, cast as John "Hannibal" Smith, and Bradley Cooper, who is taking on the part of Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck. Joe Carnahan is directing.

The Game's acting credits include "Street Kings" and "Waist Deep."
