The Game is being sued by the legal team who worked on his gun charges case in 2007.

In the suit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Kinsella Weitzman Iser Kump & Aldisert claims they are owed $34,683.90 in unpaid fees from the rapper. The firm stated their representation resulted in "a successful outcome" for the entertainer.

The Compton artist faced five years in state prison for the February 2007 offense, but only ended up serving eight days.

He was alleged to have threatened a person with a gun during a pickup basketball game.

Soulja Boy arrested in Georgia

Police in McDonough, Ga. say rapper Soulja Boy was charged with obstruction after telling authorities a boldfaced lie about a raucous gathering at an abandoned house.

Henry County Police Capt. Jason Bolton said Friday that officers were called to the location Wednesday night (Oct. 7) after receiving noise complaints. But upon arrival, almost half of the 40 people assembled fled by foot.

"Somebody had seen a large group of juveniles hanging out at this house that they knew to be abandoned," Bolton told E! News. "[The responding officer] found about 40 people located behind this abandoned home. Half of the group ran from the officer, despite orders to stop."

Later, a man identified as DeAndre Cortez Way, Soulja Boy's real name, returned and said the group was shooting a video.

The 19-year-old was charged with obstruction and bonded out of the Henry County jail on Thursday, the AP reported.

The rapper started an Internet dance craze several years ago with the hit "Crank That (Soulja Boy)." More recent hits include "Kiss Me Thru the Phone."

MTV reponds to why Eminem was not on their Top MCs List

I think you do the credibility of this list a disservice if you don’t thoroughly explain his omission. Usher calls the cops on Tameka

It seems that Usher is having female problems. And that female would be his soon to be ex-wife, Tameka.

TMZ is reporting that the singer recently called the cops and accused her of sneaking onto his property and scratching up one of his cars. Hmm, maybe she was watching "Waiting to Exhale" and saw the Angela Bassett scene where she gets back at her cheating husband by keying and torching his car.

Anyway, when officers arrived at the scene, the still Mrs. Usher Raymond was nowhere to be found.

Police later interviewed both Tameka and Usher -- but determined there was no evidence or witnesses to substantiate Usher's claim.

The site says the drama didn't end there -- law enforcement sources told them that Usher called the cops on Tameka a second time several days later, complaining that she again got onto his property and wouldn't leave. But by the time cops arrived, Tameka was gone.

Hmm, we could say something like "why the hell did you marry that woman in the first place?", but we'll leave that to you the reader.

Jay-Z speaks on Michael Jackson

You might want to pick up the new issue of NME magazine. In it, Jay-Z pays tribute to the legend Michael Jackson, even revealing that Jigga collaborated with Jackson multiple times, something that was until now unknown. According to Jay-Z, Michael sang on “Girls, Girls, Girls,” a track from the original “Blueprint” album. “He was on my song ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’, singing these background vocals and I didn’t even put his name on it,” Jay wrote. HOV apparently teamed up with the King Of Pop on “You Rock My World” too plus brought him on stage during his 2001 Summer Jam performance. “He played a concert with me in New York, which was great,” Jay continued. “He got up and he walked out and the place went mental, guys were just grabbing their hats and throwing them like, ‘Aiiiiiiiiiieeeeee!’”

Pharrell Williams adds female singer to N.E.R.D.

Pharrell Williams has added a female singer to his hip hop-rock group N.E.R.D. In a new interview, Pharrell talked about adding the singer, Rhea, and explained why he decided to do so. “Musically, we’re just somewhere else [with her],” Pharrell said in an interview. “The music is now very 3-D. It’s something you have to hear. But you’ll see. We’re definitely somewhere else. I want to leave that impact moment for when you purchase your download and you purchase your CD. The music is very three-dimensional. We’re just really excited. We feel like N.E.R.D. has always been the punks of hip-hop and the outcasts of alternative music — just a little different. But this time, we’re taking no prisoners.” Pharrell went on to add “Now you have this little Tinkerbell that’s just stepped in and has been amazing…It’s made it a fun process. Fat Joe speaks on Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and Remy Ma

Fat Joe has responded to 50 Cent’s recent jokes about his upcoming “J.O.S.E. Part II” album, actually thanking 50 for helping to promote the project, even better than his record label. During an interview yesterday (October 6th), Fat Joe sarcastically declared his love for 50. “I’ve realized something really, that, he’s my number one fan and really loves Fat Joe,” Joey told radio personality Angie Martinez. “I’m really tuned in to that, I really came to that realization that he’s my number one fan because I’m a little upset at the label, I felt we could have did way more promotions, but if you didn’t know Fat Joe’s album was coming out today, I think he said, ‘Yo, my man Joe needs this little bit of promotion man, like he’s so much of a formidable opponent, that you know, I gotta keep this guy around, I gotta go promote his new album.’ Absolutely. Recently a new track from 50 Cents upcoming “Before I Self Destruct” album leaked. The new song “Baby By Me” featured hit R&B singer Ne-Yo and now Ne-Yo is speaking out about workin with the G-Unit general. According to the singer, 50 insisted on using his vocals on the record, much to his surprise. Ne-Yo talked about how the song came together. “He reached out,” Ne-Yo revealed in an interview. “I always say he did the majority of the heavy lifting. Dr. Dre explains "Detox" delays

In a recent interview, Dr Dre said that a lack of motivation is contributing to the delay of the highly-anticipated album. Although he didn’t give any real details, Dre did promise that the project will hit stores in 2010. “[I'm] only [working] on my album that I’ve been working on for the last ten years, that’s it [laughs],” Dre said about what projects he is working on. “The Detox record. Hopefully I’ll get it done by the end of this year and you’ll hear it next year. Motivation and other things getting in the way, that’s it [has caused the delay.]

Shyne Freed but facing Deportation

Rapper Jamal "Shyne" Barrow was released from prison Tuesday after serving 10 years for a club shooting, but he was quickly taken into custody by immigration officials who may deport him to his native Belize because of his felony rap sheet.

Shyne has a green card, but U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman Mike Gilhooly said the artist "is in violation of U.S. immigration law," reports the New York Daily News. He offered no further details.

While in prison, Shyne changed his name to Moses Leviy in recognition of his Jewish mother. His father is now the prime minister of Belize.

Recently, Jay-Z denied a report that he had visited Shyne at the Woodbourne Correctional Facility to sign him to a record deal.

Jay-Z wants to work with Liam Gallagher from Oasis

Jay-Z is putting it out there that he wants to work with Liam Gallagher of the alternative band Oasis.

The Brooklyn mogul admits he first became interested in the collaboration after reading that Snoop Dogg would be interested in signing Liam's brother and bandmate Noel Gallagher to Priority Records, where the Long Beach rapper serves as creative director.

"I hear Snoop Dogg might be teaming up with Noel. If that's the case then I would love to work with Liam," Jay-Z told The Sun. "Their [Oasis'] music is tight and I think we could blend our styles well."

The rapper said that hooking up with Gallagher could yield similar results as his collaboration with Linkin Park, with whom he released the joint album 'Collision Course' in 2004, as well as playing live with them.

"When I teamed up with Linkin Park nobody expected that to work but we made a massive success of it," he said. "The same could happen with Liam."

50 Cent says Eminem turned down 15 million dollar movie offer

We all know that after D12 founding member (and Eminem’s best friend) Proof died, Eminem stepped out of the spotlight to take time to himself and apparently nothing could get him to come out, not even $15 million dollars. In a new interview with DJ Whoo Kid, 50 Cent said “You could barely get him out the house! I mean you can’t get him out the house for money.” 50 was talking about a possible movie he wanted to do with Eminem. “I flew down there, I had 15 million for him. I flew down there with a script called ‘Con Rail,’ and I had everybody on deck, they was ready to him 15 million dollars to do the movie. And we was gonna shoot it in Detroit so he could still drop Hailey off and pick her up. That n—- still didn’t want to come outside.

Snoop Dogg, and ever other rapper, doesn’t like Bill O’Reilly (and we don’t blame him). In a recent interview, Big Snoop gave his fans an update on the issues he has with the controversial talk show host (and hater of rap) even saying that 50 Cent and Eminem have his back. Snoop says that Mr. O’Reilly is scared of him. “I went so motherf*cking hard on that n*gga he scared of me,” Snoop said in an interview. “He don’t wanna see me on a battle on T.V. with conversation and cameras and he d*mn sure don’t wanna see me in the hood, n*gga — he left me the f*ck alone. And I got friends like 50 Cent and Eminem, you know, so I got powerful friends who can get at his motherf*cking a** without him even knowing it. They can do that.” In related news, this isn’t the first time that Snoop Dogg went off on Billy. In a past interview Snoop said “F*ck Bill O’Reilly. 50 Cent talks about upcoming album

In a recent interview on Shade 45, 50 Cent revealed details surrounding his upcoming “Before I Self Destruct” album saying that it will feature appearances by both Ne-Yo and R Kelly. 50 Cent not only says that Dr Dre produced four tracks for the album but says he didn’t do many songs with other artists. “I didn’t do a lot of collaborating,” Fif revealed. “I wrote the record and I had so much time to write so many ideas that I wanted to make sure people heard me…I had the time to make it what I wanted.” 50 went ton to say “Me and [Eminem] doing the ‘Psycho’ joint is crazy on the record. I did this joint with R. Kelly, it’s actually a bonus because it’s track 16 on the joint…R.Kelly was the last one [besides Ne-Yo]. [Me and Dre,] we did four joints on this album. I had more time with Dre on this record than the other one…”

Method Man surrenders to authorities after failing to pay taxes

Method Man surrendered to authorities Monday morning after failing to pay nearly $33,000 in back personal income taxes, according to officials cited by the New York Post.

The Wu Tang Clan member -- whose real name is Clifford Smith -- entered the Staten Island DA's office at about 8 a.m. to face felony charges in connection with neglecting to pay $32,799 dating back to 2004, according to DA Daniel Donovan.

Authorities said the rapper, who lives on Staten Island, had failed to pay taxes for three years.

The investigation was conducted by the DA's office and the state Department of Taxation.

"Failure to properly report and pay your taxes is a crime against all citizens and will be aggressively investigated and prosecuted," said Donovan.

Jim Jones pleads guilty to assault

Rapper Jim Jones pleaded guilty to assault stemming from a physical altercation with a friend of Ne-Yo's as the R&B crooner looked on at a Louis Vuitton store in New York City.

According to the Associated Press, Jones entered his plea to the misdemeanor charge Monday. He was sentenced to time served — the few hours he was in custody after turning himself in to police in January.

Jones and Jayvon Smith threw down in front of holiday shoppers Dec. 22 at Louis Vuitton's Fifth Avenue location. Defense lawyer Scott Leemon has said Jones didn't start the fight.

Leemon said Monday that Jones pleaded guilty because he didn't want to risk probation — and potential touring restrictions — if convicted.

Christina Milian 'Excited' To Be A Mom

The "Dip It Low" singer stunned fans by secretly marrying the producer/singer in Las Vegas in September - and now she has announced she and her husband are preparing to welcome a baby next year.

She tells People.com, "My husband and I are expecting. We're about four and a half months along, about 19 weeks. We're really excited."

And Milian, who reportedly exchanged vows with The-Dream in Rome, Italy days after their Sin City nuptials, insists the wedding wasn't quite as spontaneous as it seemed. She adds, "Honestly, it was kind of planned. We were engaged for many months."

A woman files paternity suit against Beyonce's Dad

TMZ.com reported that a woman in her late 30s is claiming that Beyonce's father/manager Mathew Knowles is the father of her unborn child.

According to the Web site, Alexsandra Wright filed a paternity case in L.A. County Superior Court last week alleging she is 6 months pregnant with Knowles' child.

Wright, according to TMZ, lives in Los Angeles and works in the name-branding business. The Web site also said she had a small acting role on a 2001 episode of "Scrubs" titled "My 15 Minutes."

T-Boz reveals battle with Brain Tumor

Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins revealed that she has been waging a secret battle against a brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2006.

In the Oct. 12 edition of People magazine, the 39-year-old said that she underwent a seven-hour surgical procedure back in 2006 during which doctors peeled the tumor from her brain stem by making a cut behind her ear.

The divorced single mother of one said she was battling the tumor earlier this year during filming of NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice" but didn't want to make it known to the public.

"I didn't want pity. I was there to help sick children," she told People.

T-Boz, who also suffers from the blood disorder sickle cell anemia, competed on Donald Trump's reality series to raise funds for the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia.

She said people are "shocked" when she tells them the news, but added "I won't let you feel sorry for me."

Jay-Z compares Lil Mama's interruption at the VMAs to Kanye

Jay-Z says Lil Mama's interruption of his "Empire State of Mind" performance at the MTV Video Music Awards was just as disrespectful as Kanye West's hijack of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech.

Speaking to Hot 97's Angie Martinez on Wednesday, Hov said of Lil Mama's actions, “Me personally, I would never do that. I would never have the nerve to do that. We went to rehearsals and went did run through and we worked really hard at the performance to put on a show for people.

"I actually thought it was equivalent to what Kanye did to Taylor Swift, but nobody really talked about that because I’m not a sweet little girl from the middle of America.”

Meanwhile, Jay-Z led the U.S. pop chart for a second week on Wednesday, while Whitney Houston's recent chart-topper rebounded one place to No. 2 after receiving a big sales boost from her "Oprah Winfrey Show" appearance.

Jay-Z's "The Blueprint 3" sold 298,000 copies during the week ended September 21, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It dropped just 37 percent in its second week, underpinned in part by the rapper's back-to-back appearances on the MTV Video Music Awards and on the premiere episode of NBC's "Jay Leno Show."

Houston's "I Look To You" sold 156,000 copies, a 77 percent leap. The pop singer made a much-publicized two-day stand on "Oprah." In three weeks, "I Look to You" has sold 548,000 copies.

Snoop Dogg Tour Dates

Snoop Dogg will go on tour in October to promote his forthcoming studio album, "Malice in Wonderland," which is set to surface in December.

The outing kicks off in Baltimore, MD on Oct. 27. So far, the trek consists of shows in 11 cities, including New York (10/29), Boston (11/1) and Chicago (11/4), with the outing concluding Nov. 8 in Dallas, TX.

As previously reported, the rapper was named Creative Chairman of the revived Priority Records label by parent company EMI. Priority will release his 10th studio album, "Malice in Wonderland," Dec. 8. The set features production by Dr. Dre, The Neptunes and Pete Rock, among others, and guest appearances by R. Kelly, Ghostface Killah, Mary J. Blige, Pharrell and many others.

"Malice in Wonderland" follows last year's "Ego Trippin'," which debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200, selling 137,000 copies in its first week of release.

The Game working on upcoming "R.E.D" album...

When it comes to working with The Game, not many producers are more experienced than the duo Cool & Dre. The hit producing team recently talked about working with Game on his upcoming “R.E.D.” album saying they have recorded almost ten songs already with the California emcee. ”Since we have that chemistry, I think a lot of producers could just crack ‘I can’t do nothin’ right now! Like, listen to these beats!’ and we’ll knock out like three, four in one night, one session,” Cool explained. “The first day we went to L.A., we had already done a bunch of sh*t for him, and we’re just playing ‘em [and he's like] ‘All right, I’m ready to go in the booth.’ Boom, we knocked out like seven different ideas so me and Dre are like ‘F*ck, we done let all of our arsenal off in this first night!’ [laughs] Next day, [Game says] ‘What else you got? Let’s get it going!’ We let off all our arsenal, he recorded to seven, eight records on the first night. Laid a verse, a hook here, two verses here, a whole song. I’m like, ‘Yo Dre, he’s recording to everything we did on the way up. D*mn, now we gotta start up some new sh*t with him.’ Certain artists we just have that great chemistry with, man and Game is definitely one of ‘em.”
